Rural by Design: "Barn Dance" Performance (Dance and Drama)

Balinda Craig-Quijada of Kenyon's dance faculty, in collaboration with students Marty Kezon and Elizabeth Furman, have choreographed an original interpretive dance exploring space in an historic local barn. This site-specific performance explores how barns -- these iconic, multipurpose structures -- inform our landscape.

The performance is part of Rural by Design, a week-long series of events exploring rural sustainability in Knox County and around the globe. The program is presented by the Rural Life Center with support from the McGregor Fund of Detroit, Michigan.

The performance takes place at the Colwill farm and barn, 19855 New Gambier Road, Gambier
