Symphonic Wind Ensemble - Family Weekend Concert (Concert)

Under the direction of Professor Dane Heuchemer, Professor of Music, the sixty-member ensemble will perform its first concert of the academic year. The concert will feature pieces written by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ron Nelson, and Vaclav Nelhybel, as well as three movements from Percy Grainger's Lincolnshire Posy. Senior Music major Patrick Joyal '13 will guest conduct Charles Ives's Country Band March.

"After being on sabbatical last year, it is really exciting to be back on the podium," Heuchemer said. "I missed working with this group and these people very, very much."
