Tom Giblin is an associate professor of physics at Kenyon.
Abstract: Over the last year, my students and I have investigated a number of scenarios that may (or may not) help explain the deep mysteries of the Universe. In this presentation I will talk about the progress that we’ve made in trying to search for explanations related to dark energy, dark matter and cosmic inflation and why particle physics may (or may not) be able to shed new light on these mysteries.
