Join novelist, poet and visual artist Eric Gansworth for a reading of his latest works.
Eric Gansworth, Sˑha-weñ na-saeˀ (Onondaga, Eel Clan), born and rasied at Tuscarora Nation, is Lowery Writer-in-Residence at Canisius College, in Buffalo, NY. He has published eleven books of prose, poetry, and visual art, most recently, the two novels, "If I Ever Get Out of Here" and "Give Me Some Truth." He has won an American Book Award and was selected for inclusion in LIT CITY, a public arts project, celebrating 15 writers who have contributed to Buffalo’s Literary Legacy. He was recently an NEH Distinguished Visiting Professor of Native Studies at Colgate University, and also a 2018 recipient of a NYFA/NYSCA Fellowship in Fiction.
Gansworth will also hold a creative writing workshop at 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, in Peirce Lounge.
