The Quarry Chapel invites the Kenyon community to a concert by local musicians on Sunday, June 10, from 3-4 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
Daniel Mark Epstein, an affiliated scholar in American studies, and Howard Sacks, a professor emeritus of sociology, have been listening to and playing the music of Bob Dylan for over 50 years. Daniel, an award-winning author, explored Dylan’s life and music in his biography, "The Ballad of Bob Dylan." Howard’s early experience of Dylan’s music prompted his own lifelong study, presentation and performance of American folk music.
"Bob Dylan and Us" celebrates the words and music of this visionary poet/musician whose many accolades include the Nobel Prize in Literature and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
