8 p.m. "Mystery Men" (1999)
Who will save Champion City when its legendary superhero, Captain Amazing, disappears? Led by the always-angry Mr. Furious, the Blue Rajah, Shoveler, the Bowler, Spleen, Invisible Boy, and Sphinx team up to give it a try. Racing against time to stop the devious villain Casanova Frankenstein, these seven inept wannabes use absurd powers and negligible weapons in a quest to show the world what kind of heroes they are. Starring Hank Azaria, Janeane Garofalo, Eddie Izzard, Greg Kinnear, William H. Macy, Paul Reubens, and Ben Stiller.
