The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures (MLL) invites you to the annual Kenyon MLL Colloquium. The colloquium will serve as a major forum for students, faculty and alumni of MLL, the largest and most diverse department at Kenyon College. It will give the members of the MLL community across disciplines an opportunity to learn about each other’s scholarly and creative projects and pedagogic innovations. It will prepare the students for participating in academic and professional conferences, a skill important for their future careers. It will feature a conversation with MLL alumni that will publicize diverse career paths that students with an MLL degree can pursue. Finally, the colloquium will allow MLL faculty and students to share their creative projects, and receive feedback from their audience. This is especially valuable since many Kenyon students contemplate careers in creative writing, film and other media.
