The Lunch & Learn programs presented this semester are inspired by the book "The Culture Code: The Secrets of Highly Successful Groups" by Daniel Coyle. Coyle writes that highly successful groups exhibit three skills that create a culture in which ordinary people can create performance far beyond the sum of their parts.
This semester, each Lunch & Learn program will explore one of these three skills. Although the greatest benefit will be from attending all three programs, each stand alone as a topic for discussion.
This program explores how signals of connection generate bonds of belonging and identity, which in turn leads to highly successful groups. We will discuss how signaling belonging affects us and ideas for action in the various groups we belong.
