After decades serving in executive roles at for-profit businesses and charitable organizations, David Griffith ’76 has learned a few things about what it means to lead. Whether you are serving as a leader on campus or aspiring to lead as an executive in the workplace, this presentation will give you a framework for centering people, values and results in your approach to leadership. David has many experiences to share, but it all starts with wearing muddy boots.
David Griffith currently serves as the executive director of Episcopal Community Services in Philadelphia and holds multiple charitable and for-profit board positions. He has held high-level roles at companies like the Modern Group and IBM, and recent speaking engagements include Harvard Business School. He is the author of the Wear Muddy Boots blog.
