Edgar Arceo '15 will be on campus to host a "lunch and learn" session about the Independent School Teaching Residency Program. Bring your lunch down and learn about a program that will allow you — in two years — to earn your masters degree while also gaining real teaching experience under the mentorship of seasoned teachers.
The Independent School Teaching Residency is a collaboration between the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education and two consortiums of the nation’s leading independent schools. One consortium includes day schools while the other includes boarding schools.
The residency program is ideal for students who:
• Are aspiring or early career educators.
• Have the ambition and drive to earn a masters degree in education while completing intensive teaching fellowships at host partner schools.
• Desire a cohort experience in a collaborative learning community.
