Recently elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Hopi Hoekstra is the Alexander Agassiz Professor of Zoology and curator of mammals in the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard University. Her research explores the genetic basis of adaptation, from morphology to behavior, in vertebrates, primarily wild mice.
