In commemoration of the hundredth anniversary of the end of World War I on Nov. 11, 1918, and complementing Associate Professor of Italian Patricia Richards' fall course on WWI and film, two screenings will take place back-to-back in the Community Foundation Theater on Sunday, Nov. 11: "Men of Bronze," a documentary about the African American contribution to the war effort, at 6:30 p.m. and Stanley Kubrick's riveting drama "Paths of Glory," starring Kirk Douglas, at 8 p.m.
There will be an opportunity for discussion following both films.
The screening is sponsored by the Modern Languages and Literatures Department and is free and open to the public.
