The Rt. Rev. Dr. Katharine Jefferts Schori served as the first female presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church from 2006 to 2015. In her role on behalf of the Episcopal Church, Bishop Jefferts Schori traveled extensively and encountered women in diverse religious leadership positions throughout the world. Joining in Kenyon's year-long celebration of women for the 50th anniversary of coeducation at Kenyon, Bishop Jefferts Schori will speak to her own experience breaking the "stained-glass" ceiling in the church and her international experience.
