Guisela Latorre, professor of art history at The Ohio State University, and Nic Flores, visiting assistant professor of Latino/a studies at Kenyon, will discuss the social, cultural and political dimensions of the exhibition "Axis Mundo: Queer Networks in Chicano L.A." through the perspectives of art history and queer theory. Moderated by Clara Roman-Odio, professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern Languages and Literature.
A public reception will also be running concurrently in the Fischman Lobby in celebration of the opening of a new installment of "Alumnae: 50 Years." Light refreshments will be served.
This event is free and open to the public.
